A five-minute checklist before you unlock the door

The same pass our team runs on a busy pool hall night — Floor, queue, Square, and displays.

Pool Hall Master

Friday revenue is made or lost in the first hour. Here is a tight checklist you can run on the Floor before players stack up at the desk.

  1. Glance every table card. Anything stuck from last night? Clear ghosts, confirm rates look right on the cards, and spot tables that still say Available when someone is already shooting.

  2. Open the Player Queue and scan the filter strip. You want Waiting near zero at open — if it is not, someone is already in line from the web waitlist or a booking is about to land.

  3. Square sanity check (if you use POS Integration). Confirm you are Connected under Account & Settings → POS Integration, pick the right Location, and verify Pool Table Time (or your linked catalog item) is still linked. One broken link means the bar cannot add table time to the same tab.

  4. TV displays for the tables you care about tonight. Each table has its own URL under Table Displays — open one on a test browser tab; you should see your venue branding and the Scan to Keep Score path alive. If a TV is stale, Reset All TV Displays is in Account & Settings under Danger Zone.

  5. Staff PINs and roles. New door person? Confirm their role (Staff, Management, or Viewer) matches what they are allowed to change before you hand them the iPad.

That is it — under five minutes if the room is already configured. The detailed flows for each step live in Documentation; treat this post as the muscle-memory version you can skim at 5:58 p.m.
